General Rules & Regulations

Identity Card Rules

Students must wear their Identity Card to enter the college through Gate No.2
Six turnstile machines are placed - three for entry and three for exit
If any student forgets their Identity Card, they must enter through Gate No. 1 and register their entry in the Security Cabin
Strict action will be taken against any student misusing their Identity Card

Campus Conduct

Students must wear and display their college identity card at all times on campus
Fine will be imposed for not carrying ID card
The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in college buildings, classrooms and corridors
During lecture hours, students should be present in the class and not loiter around college premises
Students are expected to observe decorum and decency in clothing and behavior

Administrative Rules

In case of any problem, students can approach the Vice Principal
Students should not collect any funds without written permission of the Principal
Students shall not organize picnics, excursions or trips without prior written permission
Students should not write on benches/walls and should help maintain cleanliness
The Principal's decision on disciplinary matters is final

Library Rules & Regulations

Access Policy

Only bonafide students with valid Identity Smart Card may enter
Fine of ₹100 for not wearing ID card
Lost cards must be reported immediately to the Librarian
Duplicate card costs ₹300 (issued on Fridays only with police complaint/affidavit)

Circulation Rules

Home lending available 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
In-house reading available during all working hours
Books issued for one week from Home Lending Section
Reference books cannot be borrowed

                     Fine Structure
                    ₹1/day per book for first 15 days overdue
₹2/day per book after 15 days
₹10/day during examination periods

                

Reading Hall Rules

₹10/day fine for taking books outside without permission
Reserving seats is strictly prohibited
Complete silence must be maintained
No discussions permitted - for reading/self-study only

General Discipline

Mutilation of books (marking/damaging) is strictly prohibited
Last borrower is responsible for any damage
Fine equivalent to damage caused will be imposed
Librarian may refer disciplinary cases to the Principal

Attendance Policy

University Ordinance 119

75% attendance required separately for:
- Theory classes
- Practical sessions
- Tutorials (where applicable)

Leave Application

For bonafide absences (illness/etc.), students must:
- Apply in writing to the Principal
- Submit prior to leave or within 2 days of commencement
- Late applications will be treated as default
Medical certificates must be submitted with leave applications
All applications to be submitted to Vice-Principals

Admission Guidelines

General Admission Policy

FYBA/BCOM admissions as per University directions
Priority given to existing college students (2016-17 batch)
Admissions begin after HSC results declaration

Eligibility Criteria

Must have passed HSC (SYJC) Examination from Maharashtra Board or equivalent
Stream-specific subjects as specified by Mumbai University
Out-of-state students require:
- Provisional Eligibility Certificate from Mumbai University
- Migration Certificate
- Original Marksheets + 3 copies
- Documents must be submitted within 2 months or admission stands cancelled

Required Documents

Online admission form
Eligibility certificate (for non-Maharashtra Board students)
Original HSC marksheet + 3 photocopies
Transfer Certificate (for students from other colleges)
Full fees payment in CASH (no cheques)

All admissions are provisional until all documents are submitted
